The club was formed in June 2002 as the South West Construction Best Practice Club, to raise awareness of the benefits of best practice following the problems identified by Sir John Egans Rethinking Construction & Accelerating Change reports. The purpose of the club is to improve the knowledge and understanding of those in the construction industry and to promote best practice.
We aim to provide guidance and advice, promote sharing and learning to stimulate the regional industry. The spirit of the club also offers an alternative environment to chat over challenges and direction in a friendly supportive setting.
Meetings are held regularly for members to get together to discuss developments and best practice in the industry. These meetings are usually combined with presentations on topical issues that are aimed at improving knowledge and understanding of important issues relating to construction.
This site is a work in progress at the moment and will be updated with more information and events throughout the year. If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to contact any of the committee members listed in the contacts tab on the left. We would like to hear from you.
